Jimmy Buffet is a many-talented person and it is no wonder that Buffett wrote the sound-track for, co-produced and acted in the 2006 film Hoot, which has become a critical and commercial blunder. Jimmy also wrote and performed the theme song to the 1993 CBS television series. Apart from that, Buffet is known to have made several cameo appearances, including in Repo Man, Hook, Cobb, Congo, and From the Earth to the Moon.

Jimmy Buffet’s latest album titled Live in Anguilla was released in November 2007 and was recorded at reggae singer beach bar. The album includes two discs, the first one with 14 tracks, and the other one – 16 tracks. Live in Anguilla also includes a 82-minute DVD of concert footage (18 tracks). Live in Anguilla includes such singles as Waiting in Vain by Bob Marley, When Salome Plays the Drum, Grapefruit-Juicy Fruit, Carnival World, Distantly in Love and many more.

Swine NotFamed musician Jimmy Buffet will release a charming fable for all ages at the end of 2008. The book will tell us about the exciting adventure of Rumpy, a Manhattan pig. Jimmy got the inspiration to write the book of such a kind from a friend of his who really keeps a pig in Manhattan. According to Jimmy, this is going to be a funny story of family relationships displayed through the life of the family of pigs.

I have recently enjoyed Jimmy Buffet’s great performance, where he sang “No woman, no cry,” a Bob Marley song, and a few other world-famous hits. I have never seen Jimmy Buffet live, only on TV. He looked so natural and it seemed performing was fun for him. It was just amazing. He was singing, laughing, talking to the audience and the audience were singing with him.
