Friday night was nostalgic for Jimmy Buffet as they made their 15th appearance at the Alpine Valley Music Theatre along with the band Coral Reefer , the first one being 20 years back in July 1988. Greg “Fingers” Taylor who was the featured special guest joined in to sing some old classics like “Son of a Son of a Sailor” and “Fins” also was the first one to perform right after the intermission. The Set list featured couple of changes which included “Wars On The Water” and “Distantly In Love”. The tickets for the rest of the Buffett concerts continue to sell well.

Jimmy Buffett continued on the tour at Cincinnati with a performance at the Riverbend Music Center. This is Jimmy’s favorite center since he has performed here 41 times in 20 years. The performance included a lot of new numbers such as Jamaica Farewell, a song not been performed since 1990, Take Another Road, The Ass And The Hole and What If The Hokey Pokey Is All It Really Is About? The show ended with a cover performance of John Prine’s “Paradise”. This show has set the stage on fire and fans are lining up to buy tickets for the rest of the tour

Jimmy Buffett is all set to have his summer tour storm through the Midwest starting on July 17th at the Riverbend Music Center in Cincinnati, Ohio. In fact 5 of his next 6 shows will be in cities in the Midwest, including Alpine Valley in East Troy Wisconsin, Toyota Park in Bridgeview, Illinois (2 shows), and the Verizon Wireless Music Center in Noblesville, Indiana.
