Jimmy Buffet, the renowned singer, who is currently on the “Year of Still Here Tour”, visited Chicago last week. His performance at the Toyota Park was the first of the two shows in Chicago. Jimmy enthralled his fans by performing “Hey Good looking”, “Jamaica Mistaica” “We are the people our parents” and a new version of “Sweet Home Chicago”. The show also featured some guests like the Juke Joint duo and Greg Taylor. Jimmy also performed “It’s a big Old Goofy World”, a classic song of John Prine. Jimmy started the third leg of his tour from Bridgeview IL on Saturday 26th of July.

Jimmy Buffett Makes Appearance at Alpine Valley Music Theatre

Friday night was nostalgic for Jimmy Buffet as they made their 15th appearance at the Alpine Valley Music Theatre along with the band Coral Reefer , the first one being 20 years back in July 1988. Greg “Fingers” Taylor who was the featured special guest joined in to sing some old classics like “Son of a Son of a Sailor” and “Fins” also was the first one to perform right after the intermission. The Set list featured couple of changes which included “Wars On The Water” and “Distantly In Love”. The tickets for the rest of the Buffett concerts continue to sell well.

Buffett Resumes The Year of Still Here Tour

Jimmy Buffett continued on the tour at Cincinnati with a performance at the Riverbend Music Center. This is Jimmy’s favorite center since he has performed here 41 times in 20 years. The performance included a lot of new numbers such as Jamaica Farewell, a song not been performed since 1990, Take Another Road, The Ass And The Hole and What If The Hokey Pokey Is All It Really Is About? The show ended with a cover performance of John Prine’s “Paradise”. This show has set the stage on fire and fans are lining up to buy tickets for the rest of the tour

Jimmy Buffett to storm through Midwest

Jimmy Buffett is all set to have his summer tour storm through the Midwest starting on July 17th at the Riverbend Music Center in Cincinnati, Ohio.  In fact 5 of his next 6 shows will be in cities in the Midwest, including Alpine Valley in East Troy Wisconsin, Toyota Park in Bridgeview, Illinois (2 shows), and the Verizon Wireless Music Center in Noblesville, Indiana.  Jimmy Buffett fans are excited to catch their wave of the summer tour as recent reviews of previous concerts are sure to rock the Midwest.  It is not hard to see why fans have been scooping up their Jimmy Buffett tickets as they do not want to miss out.  Because this is one storm that music fans surely want to be a part of.
