Update: Buffett in the campaign

Jimmy Buffett spent his weekend playing Greatest Hits concerts for the campaign of Barack Obama. We mentioned this last Friday, and it’s really all the Buffett news there is today. He played concerts this weekend in Florida, trying to “Get out the vote” as they say. About 20,000 people showed up at his main concert in St. Petersburg. He also dedicated his encore song to his old friend Captain Tony Tarracino, who passed away that day. Were the fans more Obama fans or more Buffett fans? They were definitely Buffett fans, although most of them were both. But the crowd seems to have known the words to all the songs and had lots of fun that afternoon.
