A Jimmy Buffett Fan

Nice Idea

One of the members of Jimmy’s Coral Reefer Band has decided to give the bulk of his coming royalties from his most recent album to an organization that works with wounded veterans. Mac McAnally has released a single called “You First” that was released yesterday. He will be donating his money to the group called the “Wounded Warrior Project”. This group works with soldiers that were severely injured in a war. They both raise public awareness of the difficulties that these veterans face and help them to improve their own lives. McAnally appears to have been out on the road with Buffett for most of this year. He has also worked with Kenny Chesney and other musicians in that genre.

Performing

Buffett has been performing a lot of different shows of late and he’s having a great time. According to the Atlanta newspapers, his show is as good as ever. Not only that, but there are a fair amount of young people in the audience nowadays too. He offers a few surprises too. He doesn’t just play the songs from his old albums, but he has some new songs related to the current world situation as well as just some fun songs that people who attend the concerts have probably never heard before. He’s proving himself to be one of the most fun guys on tour right now and you better not miss the chance to see the show.

Good Reviews!

The SummerZCool Tour came to Pizza Hut Park in Dallas recently, and it was seen as a great success. Everyone who came to see the show got what they wanted, as Jimmy played all of his most favorite songs. The classic songs, really. It was a great performance and this reviewer said that he could practically hear the sound of the waves crashing, even though there is hardly any water at all there in Northern Texas. It was a great show, just as Jimmy is performing throughout the country. It’s one of those tours that you wont want to miss. There’s a lot of stress in the world, but you can definitely count on Jimmy to help you relax. The fans in Pizza Hut Park found this out, and so can you.

Up at Ford Amphitheater

Down in Florida is the next place that you can hear Jimmy Buffett performing live. It’s going to be a great show, taking place at the Ford Amphitheater. Can Jimmy Buffett excite the crowds there, just like before? He certainly will! He’s just as popular as ever and it’s going to be a great show. Also performing at this venue on the next day will be Nickelback, one of the up-and-coming rock bands right now. Florida is a good place for Buffett to perform, because it’s warm and relaxed as an atmosphere. Get down there on April 25 for a fun show!

Hotels

I don’t know how much news is contained on the site, but it does mention one important thing that we don’t hear about enough in the Jimmy Buffett world. How is the current economic situation affecting Jimmy Buffett’s franchise of hotels and other things. His different hotels may or may not be doing that well right now, and this site seems to think the same thing. People probably can’t come to Hawaii and stay at hotels with Buffett restaurants and other kinds of things. But people still love music, and will still buy new CDs and see fun shows no matter what. People want to be entertained and have lots of fun to forget the tough times a little bit.

More Charity

For those who have been unable to go to Jimmy Buffett’s shows lately or those who might be unable to see the upcoming ones, there are several different charity Jimmy Buffett Night events. The one that I want to emphasize right now will take place in LaSalle County Illinois. It will be given in the city in order to benefit the Ottawa Center, that cares for children victims of abuse, physical and sexual. It’s a sad position for them to be in, but it is a great honor for people who take part in fixing the problem, both performers and donors. And the music will be great too. Jimmy Buffett’s music makes people happy, and charity will make people happy.
