Jimmy Buffett Puts on Surprise Show for Saints Fans

While down in the New Orleans to cheer on his Saints, Jimmy Buffett performed a few songs on the back of a truck while partying with the Down Undas Tailgating Club before the game. He struck a deal with a fan that he would play a song if they gave them their Saints hat. Parked under a highway, Jimmy jammed with the Creole String Beans playing “Sea Cruise” and “Margaritaville”.

A small crowd sang along before Bubba returned to the party of beer, seafood, and barbecue. That evening an overtime field goal sent the Saints to their first Super Bowl in the team’s 44-year history. I’m sure Jimmy will be on hand when the Saints take on the Indianapolis Colts on February 7th. Everyone in Miami for Super Bowl weekend should be on the lookout for anymore impromptu shows to pop up.

Jimmy Buffett just keeps giving people smiles and help! Even indirectly. Jimmy Buffett’s tribute band, the Baha Brothers will be playing a concert in Massachusetts which will give you the chance to hear his music, played in a thoughtful way to his honor. And you can attend wearing Hawaiian shirts and flip flops, if you want, and everyone will have fun and enjoy the show. And it will help you relax and get that stress out! And the best part of all: the concert will benefit schools in the Braintree, MA area! And if you’re not only into Buffett music, you can also hear the Baha Brothers play songs from the 50s all the way to the present day. It will be a great mix and you’ll have a great time if you can get there. More details on the concert here.

Fun at Jimmy Buffet’s Concert

I have recently enjoyed Jimmy Buffet’s great performance, where he sang “No woman, no cry,” a Bob Marley song, and a few other world-famous hits. I have never seen Jimmy Buffet live, only on TV. He looked so natural and it seemed performing was fun for him. It was just amazing. He was singing, laughing, talking to the audience and the audience were singing with him.
