It’s not too late to get your Jimmy Buffett tickets for the Under the Big Top Tour! Bubba is playing four dates in June with two dates at the Comcast Center outside Boston, outside of Detroit at the DTE Energy Music Theatre, and in East Troy, WI at Alpine Valley Music Theatre. Jimmy will take a well deserved break from touring in July before playing shows in New Jersey, New York, Illinois, and Pennsylvania in August. The head Parrothead will continue touring into October concluding with a big ole show at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, NV. If you can’t make it to any of his schedules shows tune in to Radio Margaritaville on Sirius Radio or at Margaritaville.com to listen to live streams of all Jimmy’s shows. You can even hear the Jimmy and the Coral Reefers rehearse before shows, though nothing can truly capture the excitement of being at a live Jimmy Buffett show then being there in the flesh!

While down in the New Orleans to cheer on his Saints, Jimmy Buffett performed a few songs on the back of a truck while partying with the Down Undas Tailgating Club before the game. He struck a deal with a fan that he would play a song if they gave them their Saints hat. Parked under a highway, Jimmy jammed with the Creole String Beans playing “Sea Cruise” and “Margaritaville”.
A small crowd sang along before Bubba returned to the party of beer, seafood, and barbecue. That evening an overtime field goal sent the Saints to their first Super Bowl in the team’s 44-year history. I’m sure Jimmy will be on hand when the Saints take on the Indianapolis Colts on February 7th. Everyone in Miami for Super Bowl weekend should be on the lookout for anymore impromptu shows to pop up.

The Buffett world is quiet again. This is really quite fitting for his world too, because he’s about relaxing and enjoying life rather than getting concerned about all the little things. In Spring it’s even more this way, because finally you don’t have to sit indoors trying to keep warm. No longer will you have to clench your muscles just to keep from freezing. Instead, you can wear your t-shirts and shorts and walk around outside without concern. You can lay down in the sun and smile. Put on the ball game or some music, and enjoy the warmth. This is what Jimmy is all about! Enjoying life to its full!

Jimmy Buffett, the music legend, who has been touring for the past 40 years with his music, feels that music is the secret of his success in whatever field he enters. So, he made this summer tour’s motto as “The Year of Still Here”. Though many young artists find it difficult to survive in the music field, this 61 year old beach bum has created his own niche in the music arena. Most of his summer shows tickets are sold out and it is a spectacular to see the thousands of Parrotheads enjoying his music at the concert venues. Apart from being a musician, he plays the role of author of books, owner of restaurant chains, casinos and a brewing company.
